Benefits of collagen from eggshell membrane

The only vegetarian alternative to animal collagen, which is traditionally made from bovine or porcine products.
It is extremely rich in vegetarian collagen, elastin, glucosamine and chondroitin.
Sustainable production. Material is recovered that would otherwise remain unused. Eggshells are easier to process when the membrane is removed. The shells are then used as a soil and feed supplement (natural recycling).

Where do we get the raw material eggshell membrane?

The eggshell membrane is sourced from egg waste from industries such as bakeries.

How sustainable is the processing of eggshell membrane?

The eggshells used are obtained as a “by-product” of these food production industries.

How animal friendly is the hen husbandry?

Great importance is attached to the fact that the eggs come from hens that are not kept in cages, and are mostly even of organic quality.

Are the eggs unfertilised?

The eggs are 100 % unfertilised.

What happens to the other components of the eggs?

Eggshells are a waste product of food production and are an upcycling product of its recycling.
After removal of the membrane, the eggshells are used as a source of calcium to supplement feed or as fertiliser. The entire egg, the membrane and the shell are recovered.

What else is important to know?

Our product is GMO free, nanomaterial free, GMP certified, Halal, Kosher and has had no contact with radiation.
